What should I do today? Where should I go?

We have so many books already I try to be frugal and leverage our current collection, but I can't help it! I love buying books for my kids! One recent addition has really stood out as a winner: Julie Morstad's Today. Every morning it's the first book our youngest asks for, and it's also the book she wants to read every night after dinner.

It's a simple choose-your-own adventure type of book. But the illustrations are beautiful. And what I love about this book is that it's interactive: kids get to look at the pictures and talk about what they like and want, and they can enjoy choosing something different each time. This also makes it a book we can read together as a family (something hard to find)! Neither my almost 1-year old nor my 4 year old will let a page turn without hearing everyone's opinion on what to wear, what to eat, where to go, or what to day "today".
